Rules & Regulations

Visitors are allowed on the premises until 11.30pm only. Security have the right to ask non-residents to leave after this time. Security staff and management have the right to refuse entry to non residents, and ask them to leave at any time. Security have the right to ask for I.D. at any time. Any abusive, threatening or harassing behavior to security or any member of staff will not be tolerated.

Any occupant who is guilty of unruly or unreasonable conduct not in keeping with the discipline of The Village shall be liable to expulsion from the complex at the discretion of the licensor, and the tenant shall vacate the complex on twenty four hours notice without prejudice to any other rights accruing in favour of the licensor.

Each occupant and their guests are asked to respect the rights of other occupants by avoiding excessive noise at all times as this may be a source of annoyance and disturbance to others. The consumption of alcohol must not give rise to excessive noise or unacceptable behaviour in the complex at any time.

There is a strict policy of no parties on the complex. Anyone who breaks this clause is liable to expulsion.

There shall be no storage or maintenance of any unlawful substances or materials on the premises at any time.

Visitors are not allowed to remain overnight without prior consent from the receptionist. All visitors must be checked in during office hours of the previous day. The tenant is responsible for guests who are not signed in. A fine of €50 per guest will be levied on the relevant tenant.

The occupant shall occupy the room assigned to them during the period of the stay in the complex.

The apartment will be inspected on a weekly basis without prior notice. Should an apartment fall below an acceptable standard of cleanliness, contract cleaners shall be instructed to provide a once off cleaning service. The relevant occupant(s) will be billed for the cost of this service. Cleaning materials are to be provided by the Tenant himself.

Occupants shall be expected to remove all refuse from the room assigned to them and from communal areas. Under no circumstances is there refuse to be left in the public hallways as this is a serious fire hazard.

The cost of damage in an apartment or a block caused by vandalism will, in the first instance, be levied on the person responsible. In cases where those responsible cannot be identified the cost will be levied on all occupants residing in the block. Occupants responsible for vandalism are liable to disciplinary action and expulsion at the discretion of the Licensor. The cost of damage is payable on demand.

The unnecessary discharge of fire extinguishers is considered a serious act of vandalism. There will be a fine of €500 for this offence levied against the individual responsible or against the apartment concerned. False fire alarm is subject to a fine of €500.

The apartment is fully furnished and an inventory on furniture and fittings, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery is kept in reception. The occupant shall be jointly responsible with the other occupiers of the apartment for items lost or broken during the period of occupancy.

There are no pets allowed on the premises.

The Licensor or his agent shall be allowed access to the apartment when they deem it necessary on maintenance work or other.

The Licensor is exonerated from all liability for any personal injury, loss of valuables or personal belongings kept in the apartment or on The Village grounds.

Storage heaters are not to be used for the purpose of drying clothes as this is a fire hazard.

Ball games of any kind are prohibited on the grounds of The Village.

There will be no subletting of the apartment.

CCTV Cameras are in operation on all floors and on the grounds of The Village.
